Mother's Day Card
I love this Lingerie stamp set from Pink Cat Studio!! It is so adorable! I have many more ideas for this set to come. I made this card for my step-mom for mother's day. She is my hero and I love her very much.
The paper is Bazzil Bling and is nearly impossible to stamp on unless you use really good pigment inks like VersaMark and Versafine, then emboss right away! The white scallop frame and the black oval were both cut with a Sizzix die at my local SBS. I used the tiny bras and stamped the black background with white ink, then embossed. I stamped the corset on plain white cardstock using VersaFine black ink. I used purple and pink colored pencils and blended with Gamsol then added a touch of silver stickles for some added bling. The Happy Mother's Day stamp is from the dollar bin at M's. I used a black pin to draw a few added designs and inked the edges with black ink. The inside of the card says: "You lift me up" and "Thank you for your support". Too bad the photo is a little out of focus. ;-)

In Memory of Jane Elizabeth Wester
These are photos framed in memory of my grandmother. This was displayed during the service and brought smiles to many faces. It has photos ranging from her youth to the most recent we could find.
The font is from the Opposites Attract cartridge. Her Nickname "Lib", was cut @ 2" with the upright feature and the rest to spell out "Life Is Beautiful" was at 1" on the opposite feature.
Birthday Gifts
The Cricut came to the rescue again on a last minute gift. I bought a nice black velvet wine bottle bag, filled will a tasty wine, and created the gift card box, tag and card with the Cricut.
The balloon bag tag on the wine bottle is cut with the George Cricut cartridge at 5 1/2 using the tag feature. The box (shopping bag) was cut with the Bag, Tag Boxes and More cartridge at 5 1/2. The Prima flower and flower brad was added to the box for a touch of color. The Balloon on the envelope was cut with George at 3 1/2.
The card was made with the Celebrations cartridge, with the presents on the card feature. The "It's your day" on the inside of the card, was cut with George and "Celebrate" is from Celebrations. I think I MIGHT have used up all this paper on this gift! I love it! So colorful and bright... great for celebrations!

Birthday Box with Hat, Card and Choc Covered Popcorn Box
I scraplifted the idea for this box and hat from Regina. Her work is awesome!!!
This is a birthday box (for my boss) that I decorated with paper (with spray adhesive) and two different styles of ribbon. Inside there was a picture frame, and the following items that I made: birthday hat, card and a box of chocolate covered popcorn. My boss seemed to really like it and I think she still has it on her desk ;-) She loves elephants, so I thought this double sided paper (with the gray on one side and spots on the other) was perfect. I love this color combination!
The card was cut with the new arrivals Cricut cartridge (elephant on card feature at 5 1/2).
The stamp is from the SeeD's Birthday set.
The hat template can be found at: http://familycrafts.about.com/library/projects/bltemplpartyht.htm
The popcorn box is made with the Bag, Tag, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge at 5 1/2. I popped fresh popcorn and poured it over a big sheet of wax paper. Then melted chocolate and drizzled it over the popcorn from a candy melting bottle. I let it dry for about an hour then placed some in a candy bag inside the box . I took the rest to work in a big bowl and it was all gone before lunch.
Super Bowl XXXIX in Jax, FL- Cake
At work we used to have theme parties for our luncheons. So the month that the super bowl was in town (Jacksonville), we of course had a super bowl theme. We had a food decorating challenge and I won first place with this cake. I made a vanilla cake, filled it with chocolate ice cream, The outside was decorated with chocolate frosting, tootsie rolls as goal posts, a print out of the superbowl logo, helmets with the challenging teams and LOTS of colorful candies. Mmmmmm, it was awesome.
